Comments
Comments: Well an interesting kind of day for sure. I barebooted til just after the ledges. There were some snow patches and monorail here and there but had plenty of traction with the mess from the trees. I put spikes on til I hit the junction of rollins. It was socked in and I swapped to snowshoes because I know how messy it gets in there. Snowshoed all the way over with some ankle breakers in there but not as terrible as I anticipated. Then snowshoed up to passaconaway and saw 3 guys coming down. The ledge part was fully bare just before the summit. Then came down til about 2500’ with snowshoes and barebooted for a hot second to put spikes on for maybe 2 minutes to take them off again. Once I crossed the log there was some snow still but barebooting was fine. Mud is here foe sure. Only 3 cars in the lot when I started and about 12 when I left.
