Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Foster pup Miklo with us did extraordinarily well with the crowds of people and met tons of dogs and everyone was friendly. Met "Jake" who said he'd apply to take Miklo home - Life Free Animal Rescue if you see this. Great hiker, house and crate trained, attaches to his person, great in the car, can hike forever. Good with other animals and passed the cat test. Amazing friend.

Comments
Comments: Terrific blue sky day 60ish no or little wind. Huge crowd for the circus. Much cheering. One backflip over the top of the headwall, one injured guy after a rag doll crash that walked himself out, and one that presumed was near death snowboarder who fell into the small waterfall and wasn't seen for about 10 minutes - big relief to see his snowboard appear over the lip, and then minutes later he climbed out, got on his board, then made it down to ski patrol who warmed him and put him in the sled for a ride out. Highly recommend living vicariously by watching the ravine activities. Little Head Wall a miserable slush fest with a line of skiers/boarders going slow. Very few on the ravine trail down as everyone took Sherburne ski trail even though sign said closed. Huge crowds at the bottom with tailgating parties. Our last winter hike of the season. Will wait for snowmelt rather than struggle with unstable monorail. Kestrel reading forgotten but pleased to be in the sun with a light jacket. Lots of bare skin and wild styles.
