Comments
Comments: Always a great time in the Belknaps. A little hazy over the Whites to the north, but nice views from different summit angles throughout the day of Sandwich Range, Ossipees, Moosilauke popped out of the clouds later, Kinsman across to Cannon, the hint of snowy Washington, plus all the great lake views. Lots of folks heading up to Piper, but overall not too crowded for a nice Saturday.

Trails are mostly snow free. Only came here to recommend spikes between Gunstock and Belknap(Saddle Trail and Blue Trail.) Some icy sections that are a little steeper and the tree cover a little denser than the rest of the trails. The rest of the snow and ice encountered was soft, shallow, and avoidable.
