Comments
Comments: Textbook spring ground/trail conditions on the Presis today, further amplified by the summer-like heat and rapid snowmelt. Lots of sticky spring snow and monorail/quasi-monorail on Ammo and Jewell, and the upper part of the former was still covered with spring snowfields to the point where I (and everyone else) simply went up them due to the actual trail being concealed. Some small snowfields and patches of snow above treeline as well as infrequent areas of standing water, but other than that the trails up there were bare and dry.

Still super warm out today, with temps topping out at 54 degrees on top of Washington and highs in the low 50s with light wind all day above treeline. Totally worth slogging through all that soft, mashed potato spring snow.
