Comments
Comments: late start and early finish took me to Galehead today. Crossings had some water but were easily done. Reroute of GaleRiver Trail was much better now that mud is frozen. Some black ice on steps heading to the ridge. No snow anywhere. Frost Trail had some ice but easily gotten around and I never thought about traction all day. Couple of short snow squalls around of no importance..looked like it was snowing in the presis..Saw no one on ascent..ran into a couple of guys who had come over from Garfield that were shaking their heads over sections of GRT...good day out..temps were dropping and ice was forming quickly above 3000 feet or so so tomorrow might be a bit different
