Comments
Comments: Wanted to get Isolation for March while the bushwhacks were still doable. Today was warm and windy with tons of melting. We hoped that the trail would be relatively firm in the morning, but it was pretty soft right from the start. If you don’t wear snowshoes on this in the next few days, you will be in for a sufferfest. A large portion of the route has monorail forming and in the midday heat it was collapsing.

It appears that some people have continued on Rocky Branch past the entrance to Engine Hill, but not sure if they just overshot it and then backtracked. Davis Path doesn’t appear to have any action towards Mt Davis or towards Boott Spur.
