Comments
Comments: Had them all to myself on such a beauty of a day! I was looking forward to Gridding these out, because, frankly, the mile of terror after the junction of GPT and MOT gives me the sweats. But all was well today - footholds were generously kicked in beside the luge, I mean, trail, and both ascent and descent were uneventful. Trail was firm in most places with postholes here and there, covered over by late afternoon with some mashed potato snow. Took the bypass of the bypass, which was getting soft but still manageable. There were footprints in the snow going up the chimney, so good on you;)! I wore my trail crampons, which seemed the best call for the current conditions.
