Comments
Comments: Got an early start, so the trail was hard packed frozen granular. Carried snowshoes but never put them on. Very little on this route looks like a clean snowshoe track. It’s generally pretty chopped up, and not conducive to snowshoes when frozen. Lots of post holes, especially between Field and Willey. Today was a bluebird day. Not a cloud in the sky and very little wind. Had lunch below the summit of Willey with a hungry gray jay.
