Well we started off at 6 not needing headlamps. Lot of people heading towards owlshead. We barebooted to bondcliff with no postholes due to the cold night and cold morning (will be vastly different in a day or two) we put spikes once from bondcliff to bond with no sinking. Winds were strong but mostly gusts. We put our snowshoes on because the car wash wewerr walking through were grabbing constantly on them. Some old post holes probably from the few days befote but we managed to not break anything.. i did fall and roll the ankle into a half of one. Snow started to stick when the snow was in the sun but once at the hut turned to corn snow! So soft snow but nothing sticking. I took my snowshoes off and started to bareboot but spikes went on due to the ice left on the road from the plow truck and snowmobiles. Nice cool day for april before we turn into slush land and post holes |
