 | Comments: |
Road walk is combination of ice/dirt and then dirt/slush in afternoon. Did this bare boot, no spikes both ways. First mile or two to the biggest water crossing is mostly dirt but some ice areas that may warrant spikes. I stayed bare boot. After water crossings was nice hard pack in AM a little softer by the afternoon but definitely not snow shoe worthy. Monorail just starting closer to the summit but no real issues there either. Wore my spikes from after water to summit and back to the water. Still winter conditions/weather on the summit. |
