York Pond Road is free of snow and ice, and is not yet muddy. It is terrific!

Lots of little open drainages to cross. |

The new blazes, between the cabin and the summit, definitely help with the trail finding - thank you!
There are a few leaners on KRT and one on Bunnell Notch; none are new and all are stable. |

Lots of postholes … from a very recent moose visit. Very recent. I was happy that I didn’t see it! Otherwise the trail is really nicely packed. The rain and then temperature drop, tonight, will be fabulous for trail conditions. |
