Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Both major water crossings have intact edges snow bridges, for now. The first crossing was a low dip that will like let go soon, but sh6still be easy to cross as the water is low. Along Black Pond BW and Lincoln Brook Trail, there are a dozen or so dips with open water. All are a manageable jump over.

Comments
Comments: The Owl was prime for the taking today. Solid track to the summit, doable in micro spikes, however, worth carrying snowshoes with televators if you have them. They will save your calves on the brutal climb up Brutus. lol.

The forecast was for cloudy skies and increasing winds. Not the case. We had mostly blue skies and little to no wind, except for at the summit.

Great day. Go get that old bird.
