| Comments: |
Ice for the first mile then packed snow all the way. Spikes were all that were needed today. Other 10+/- hikers I saw throughout the day were all in traction as well. The trail was softening a bit as the day went on but still a solid highway. The bald peak spur requires a bit of creative footwork as it’s pretty beaten up. But other than that, a perfect day, blue skies, must’ve been 40 degrees with no wind at the summits. Met lots of seasoned, friendly hikers. Glad I got out there! |
