Comments
Comments: The trail was pretty consolidated up to Zealand Hut. We wore snowshoes after the Zealand Road road walk but could’ve managed the first section with spikes. Snowshoes were needed from that point all the way to the Bondcliff approach (though the summit of Guyot was crusty). Someone bare booted out from Lincoln Woods to West Bond, so there’s quite a few post holes. The snow levels are several feet high, so you’ll be walking through snowy branches for miles. Snow got sticky in the warm afternoon temps.
