Nineteen Mile Brook trail was well well broken out and pretty firm in the morning but soft in the afternoon. Carter Dome trail and Carter Moriah trail had been broken out buy two snowshoers that passed me on their way down. Thank you! The Carter Moriah trail to Carter Dome has a lot of branches across the trail. Not blow downs though there are some just spruce branches that need to be cut back. I would be happy to bring the gas hedge trimmers in warmer weather but probably frowned upon. Unless you are Hobbit size I recommend eye protection. |
