| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked in the parking area outside of the gate on S. Gale River Road. This fits about 6 cars pulled in, and we parked along the side. Two other vehicles parked along the side in front of us. Plenty of room to get in and out. When we left, there were cars parked up the road a bit at the corner of Trudeau Road. |

| Surface Conditions: |
Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Three open water crossings that were not wide at all, and the water was shallow. Two still had solid snow bridges and one had rocks that were very easy to step across. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in good shape, a few duck unders and a couple of step overs that did not cause any issues. |

Our pup had a blast! We crossed paths with one other sweet pup who was enjoying the morning! |

None. |

I am not sure how much conditions will change with the incoming snow, sleet and freezing rain...but conditions today were amazing!!! The road and trail were packed solid. Hillsounds start to finish and snowshoes went for a ride. The first .75 miles on Mt Garfield trail was mostly blue ice (Hillsounds were fine), and some bare areas of trail as well...dirt and roots! On the descent the trail was still hard packed, had not softened at all. Crossed paths with close to 20 others, all in spikes. |
