Comments
Comments: Began from Pine Bend Brook Trailhead for ~1mi before beginning the bushwhack along the north/northeastern ridge and up to the summit of The Fool Killer.
Pine Bend Brook Trail is a nice snowshoe track, in good condition but quickly getting soft from above freezing nights and sunny days, snowshoes are the way to go unless you want a treacherous hike of post-holing the entire way.

3-4' snowpack off trail was getting soft, completely unsupportive. Steep climb through beautiful open conifer up to the main ridge, lots of hidden spruce traps.
From the col began a mellow climb, meandering through patches of open meadow-style forest which grew steep quick for the final ascent up to the summit ridge. Restricted views appeared through the canopy while ascending. The summit ridge walk (0.4-mi to high point) was incredibly beautiful, open boreal forest - reminded me of the Kilkenny Ridge forest, canister has been replaced with a shiny new black one and although I searched until the ridge dropped off, couldn't find the sign. Followed my snowshoe tracks back. Some recent (3-4 days ago) moose activity not far from the high point.

Below is a link to a write-up and some color photography, enjoy!
Happy climbing!
