| Comments: |
Microspikes to the junction of 19-Mile Brook and Carter Dome Trail, then switched to snowshoes for the rest of the way. Out and back to Carter Dome and then headed over to South Carter and Middle Carter. Trail was slightly unconsolidated on the Mt. Hight Bypass. Between the summits of South and Middle Carter, there were sections of snow drifts with no recent tracks in them, so had to navigate a bit, but after 10-15 steps, there were signs of the trail. North Carter Trail involved a lot of pushing through tree branches at face-level, but that eased up the closer I got to Imp, which was a pleasant walk out. Took the Camp Dodge Road shortcut and it was a short walk to the 19-Mile Brook parking lot. |
