Got a late start (1pm) and had a 1/4 mile road walk to trailhead. |

1st crossing 10 feet from trailhead is easily hop-able. Everything else was bridged. |

A good hike for dogs...several well behaved pups were friendly to ours along the way. |

We wore snowshoes. The 20ish people we saw were all wearing microspikes and seemed fine. No ice...mostly slightly slushy, packed snow so not sure how helpful the microspikes were. The usual array of postholes on the sides of the trail but nothing that really affected the footing. |
