Emerald pool trail was packed and easily bare booted, Baldface circle had seen one set of ski tracks up to the ledges going up to south baldface, navigated the ledges with snowshoes without incident but it was still early and the snow was still nicely frozen. Had to take a detour off south out to sable. Beautiful open woods with plenty of snow. Once back on Baldface circle up to north Baldface & down bicknell ridge 8-18” of snow. Given that the only tracks laid today were ours, you will want snowshoes this weekend. |
