Group of 10 of us busted out the track to the summit.
EH bushwhack is pretty close to the killer line that Jim J and Cone Demon broke out last year. I think they might actually be proud of our work ;). Iso Express is broken (as best we could), but it’ll get you there without too much meandering. Davis Path had some serious drifts right below the spur. The summit push was easily the toughest part of the hike.
Noticed some filling in of the track on the way down due to precipitation/winds.
While the track is fully broken, you still absolutely need snowshoes. It is still way too soft for anything other than shoes. However, if you need Iso for winter, grab your snowshoes and some friends and go get it! Bushwhacks cut the mileage down to 10.5, and you don’t need to break any trail :) |
