Comments
Comments: Liberty Springs is now broken by three people: my husband and I, and one other person (with a dog, I think) who came up behind us today to Liberty. Tough work as there was a lot of new snow and drifting up high. 12”-18” for most of Liberty Springs and Franconia Ridge. We went over to Flume, too, and were surprised to see that it had been broken out already from the Osseo side. Flume Slide Trail is still unbroken, as is Franconia Ridge towards Little Haystack. Snowshoes are still needed, and sleds are great [not a safe activity on hiking trails], too, if that’s your thing.
