Nice day on the trails but boy there is lots of soft snow out there. We had a good sized group in snowshoes to work on the trail. We followed a few snowshoe tracks made earlier however near the summit the drifting had covered the trail overnight. So the trail is still very soft as evidenced by the groups tromping up the trail bareboot as we descended. Unfortunately this has become expected, why after you receive two feet of new snow wouldn't you think you should use your snowshoes ?
