Comments
Comments: ammo up to the hut was a compacted joy. wore snowshoes from the base to the hut and then onto monroe. probably would have been better off with crampons between the hut and monroe. the journey on crawford path from the hut to the summit of washington was a different story. i committed to crampons but probably would have ended up switching every 100 feet due to the varied trail conditions.
