Comments
Comments: Zealand Road to Hale Brook Trail was well packed for snowshoe and nordic ski traffic. Hale Brook Trail was a bit beat up with a bunch of postholes, with 1-3" of new powder on top. Trail is now decently packed for snowshoe traffic - some postholes remain, but we were able to fill in a lot of them. Signs of drifting up high. No sign of any snow tower construction on summit. Recent use of Lend-A-Head trail. Attempted to cut off a bit of the trail on the descent and bushwhacked through some logging cuts - didn't save any time, so don't bother to follow those tracks.
