Comments
Comments: The first mile or so was real choppy with a lot of post holes. Above the first mile the trail was soft powder and further up there was a lot of drifting. There was five of us on the trail today all with snowshoes. Coming down the trail looked much better, but was still soft so I would recommend the use of snowshoes. It was a warm day and the snow was starting to get sticky with potential to freeze overnight. It is probably best to avoid creating postholes until it stiffens up.
