Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Usual duckunders, leaners and small blowdowns, mostly along the Mt Tom Spur and WRT. I took out many of the most annoying ones and pruned the eye pokers where the tree was too large for my saw. A small blowdown patch on the spur trail will need some more hands come spring.

Comments
Comments: Trails in immaculate condition at the moment with a nice snowshoe trench. There is a good base with a few inches of loose, unconsolidated snow on top. Drifting was common along the ridge, especially between Field and Willey, completely obscuring the trailbed. Four hikers made the trip out to Willey and back (including myself) and at least another 5 appear to have done Tom out/back. Everyone I saw had on snowshoes. Nice meeting John and Kayla on the trail!
