Parking at Seven Dwarfs Motel. $10 in envelope with your info and plans. Thankful for this option. If you follow Little River Road > Bushwhack > Haystack Road, it's approximately 1.5 miles to the North Twin Trailhead (3 miles round-trip). |

Snowshoes the whole way. Trail is packed down and corridor is easy to see -- the only slight exception is between the summits of North and South Twin after turning onto the North Twin Spur Trail where light snow accumulation and winds (20-30 mph) created snow drifts and covered our tracks while we were on the out & back to South Twin. Trail is well-blazed and generally easy to follow. There were two of us and we only saw one other person (in snowshoes) today. |
