Beautiful day! Some amazing souls broke out Carter Dome earlier this morning for us after a good foot+ of snow on the ground and another 2-3 feet in many spots up top - thank you AGAIN! South and over to Middle was completely unbroken but our cool crew did the deed. BEASTS! We took Imp down which another kind soul had actually come up and largely broken out for us. I have never felt so alive. Snowshoes are a MUST, and it was so hard and such a long day even with them. If you don’t own them you can rent them from nearby AMC lodges and outfitters. |
