Comments
Comments: We figured that there was a good chance that we wouldn't summit, but we were excited to do some real trail breaking! It's been too long since there's been a decent snow pack. Snow was pretty fluffy and unconsolidated. It looked like no one had come this way since before Tuesday's storm, so there was a lot of snow to break through. We had three of us in snowshoes and ran out of steam around 3300'. We were sinking at least to our knees at this point. We were still submarining on the way down, so snowshoes are definitely needed. No one came behind us.
