Broke trail up to Madison - some deep snow drifts starting about halfway to the hut some waist deep . Wind gusts above treeline maybe in the 20-30mph range - our tracks had already been blow over back down on the descent . Some areas of thick ice above the hut but nothing the spikes on our snowshoes couldn’t handle . Snowshoes the whole way |
