Chick, bitch and man again, third day in a row breaking trail. Other people are more than welcome to take over! Seems like whoever went out Wednesday only made it to the loop intersection. 4-6 inches before the loop section, 12-18 inches going up across and down. Mix of fluffy stuff and sticky stuff, very sticky towards the end of the hike. Nearly broke me seeing barebooters with snowshoes on their packs ruining the trail we just spent hours breaking but hey, hike your own hike right? Saw quite a few snowshoers (sure that’s a word) as well so the trail will be prime for those who want to snag it before the sky regurgitates more snow on it. Beautiful bluebird day!! Remember not to listen to those trail runners for the love of god! |
