 | Comments: |
Laid first tracks in the powder up the Mt Rowe trail, the upper Benjamin Weeks trail and across the Ridge trail to Mt Rowe, and descended via Mt Rowe trail. All trails in good shape with no obstructions. Thank you BRATTs! Multiple open drainages to hop over, mostly on the Benjamin Weeks trail. New snow depths ranged from 9-14 inches, with drifts up to 2 feet on the open areas of the ridge at the top. I didn't see anyone out on the trails until the last mile on the descent. Despite the unpacked powder and the warming temps (40 degrees when I finished) no one was wearing snowshoes and the bare booters were laying waste to the trail. |
