A snowshoe dream today from start to finish. Followed the tracks of one other hiker up the blueberry pasture trail to Straightback mountain and then onto Major via BRT. The trail was in the best shape I've seen it all winter. Fresh powder, smooth and fast to Mt Major. Trail was packed out by snowmobiles from Jesus valley intersection to the summit of Major.
We decended the Jesus valley-beaver pond trail to old stage Rd. A lot of fun fresh snow in the Belknaps today. Great day hiking! |
