 | Comments: |
Valley Way or the highway right now. All other trails are in waist deep powder and will likely get covered again this week. Airline had faint snowshoe tracks at the base, but those had been covered by Sunday's snow. Took Airline from Adams to Upper Bruin cutoff and there were no tracks at all. Also took Watson Path for a bit up from Brookside junction and there were no tracks. Combination of hard packed snow, drifts, and ice on or around rocks makes snowshoes with crampons the best traction option. |
