Comments
Comments: Light traction was needed on the for about 500 yards of the descent from South Twin to the Galehead Hut. My boots got wetter on the new section of Gale River Trail (put in to avoid river crossings) than they did on the three river crossings along the North Twin Trail. The new section will be nice once it gets broken in, but right now it is just a muddy mess - and it rained while we were on it so it got even more slick.
