Comments
Comments: It turned out to be a beautiful day on the Kinsmans! We hiked up to North Kinsman in some clouds, and made it over to south in time for the sun to poke through and bless us up top. Don’t believe what you’ve heard, it’s still winter up there! :) At lower elevations was another story. Lots of bare ground and deteriorating monorails reminiscent of shoulder season. Snow is packed, though. Snowshoes went along for the ride [smart to have them!]. Micros were fine. Couple icy spots between north and south twin that are easily gone around/through.
