| Comments: |
Cold day and a very hard packed and frozen surface--not ice; yet the track is quite narrow so wayward post-holing is a given. This was my first time doing these peaks in the winter--Seems much steeper covered in frozen snow but Hillsounds were great. No one in snow shoes today. Probably a dozen hikers out on this beautiful Saturday. Hats off to all the snow-shoers before me that paved the way so to speak on this steep but beautiful trail. This is 16 and 17 of my winter list. |
