Comments
Comments: The snow present at lower elevations was largely gone on the hike out. Lots of icy patches on 19-Mile Brook above Carter Dome Trail, mostly avoidable. The climb up Carter-Moriah was pretty easy, lots of snow, no ice. There was one inch or so of snow on the ridge. The descent into Zeta Pass from Hight was tricky, we carried our micro-spikes, but the footing was good enough without them. After Zeta Pass the trail was largely snow free until it crossed over the brook, when the snow returned.

A beautiful day to be out.
