Spikes would have been fine all day but opted for the snowshoes, expecting to find some drifting on the ridge after a few inches overnight that persisted till mid-morning… just a few drifts encountered between peaks..at least 9 hikers out today so trail will be well packed…ice at the start turned to softer trails fairly quickly |
