Snowshoes all day. Optional ice ax expedited scrambles after chimney bypass. Next time I will switch from poles to the ice ax for the steep stretch of the Osceola East ascent from Greeley. Mt Osceola Trail is broken out nicely. I spent 4 hours breaking the 3.1 miles of Mt Tecumseh Trail from Tripoli Rd to the summit. You could get a good trough with 2 more passes through that stretch. I jogged the other half of Mt Tecumseh Trail to the ski resort parking lot in 30 minutes, and I strolled down the Pipeline ski trail to complete the loop. |
