Comments
Comments: Stunning day heading up to Isolation with friends! I had never done the bushwhacks so I found them delightful. Some spots a little hard to follow as others tried to make a more direct path but nothing you’ll get lost in. Some cold weather and the last few days of snowshoers gave us a very packed trail on the way up, so only needed microspikes to summit. The little climb at the top is covered in snow and not an ice luge at the moment. It was warmer on the way down and snow got a little slide-y, but the trail is still in good shape. Some of us wore shoes out [real winter hikers!] but it didn’t help much and still got chopped up a little, but again, nothing you’ll get lost in!
