This hike is sweet for the first few miles. Pretty flat until you get to the loop trail. Then it is straight up. The trails are in great shape with all mud frozen in the morning and a little wet on the way down. No traction needed, bare boots all the way. Great views from both lookouts. Great conditions with temps in the 30's and light wind. I even saw one guy in shorts and a tee shirt. |
