Comments
Comments: Encountered some icy sections of trail which can be skirted or crossed on the tops of dry rocks. The trails can be managed without traction, however the section of the Garfield Ridge Trail just below the summit of Mt Garfield is quite icy so traction such as microspikes is recommended. The summit ledges were ice free. Great views today on the windy bare summit. Lots of hikers on the trail including a group from Quebec.
