Comments
Comments: I got to the parking lot and trailhead around 7:30 am, and was the first up the trail both to the main peak and east peak. Temperatures at the base around 40 F then.

Ice was negligible below about 3750', but above there on the main peak there were substantial floes on the sloped rock. When descending to the col between the main and east peaks, the ice decreases substantially, and there was little visible ice on the steep, rocky climb down or on the east peak's ascent. Somewhat windy on both peaks, particularly the vista point from the main peak. Ice floes were beginning to melt a little as I made my descent from the main peak back to the parking lot just before 11 am. All in all a good quick hiking day, but MicroSpikes were pretty much required in the higher elevations!
