Such a beautiful day to be alive! We did Field, Willey and Tom in that order, and the forest was absolutely stunning after some recent snow. Some fine folks packed it down very well yesterday and today. White mountain expressway lol. Snowshoes would be personal preference at this point. If you like shoeing it’s a great trail to do it on but microspikes are fine [except what they do to the trail for future hikers!]. Socked in all day but we were gifted a Washington sighting above the undercast that made me tear up!! Absolutely stunning. Loved seeing and chatting with everyone out today! |
