Comments
Comments: Lots of folks headed up 19 MB, we opted for a trail breaking day. We broke Trail from Camp Dodge to about 1/2 mile past Middle Carter. Beautiful but tough shoeing. Wrasses 4 others us Heading for North Carter Trail down so this should be well broken out. Snow covered branch’s hanging over the trail, we broke those out too. Lots of snow on top of North Carter Trail. We were all beat but continued on over both Carters. Met 2 heading to Middle who broke out from South...thankfully! Skipped Mt. Height as it was getting late. Well packed to Dome & we were rewarded with a fantastic undercast from the outlook! Then a jaw dropping sunset! Our hard day was rewarded. Quick down to hut, chopped up Heading down. Overnight at the hut, warm in front of fire with great friends!
