Comments
Comments: Not sure how much conditions will change after the expected snow tonight so will keep it brief. Road has had a lot of traffic from skis, snow shoes and spikes. Was in good shape, snow just a bit soft and like sand. Signal Ridge trail has an amazing snow shoe track all the way to the summit, but snow is soft and like sand. Can use snowshoes or spikes...spikes did not cause post holing or damage to the trail, just extra effort. Crossed paths with 3 others today, one in snow shoes and two in spikes. At the junction for the Old Carrigain trail, the old trail was the only one broken out and the log across the trail has been cut. Able to walk across the rocks on the open water crossing.
