A few inches of fresh powder at the start of LWT to Black Pond, which is where we put on snowshoes. There were a few sets of tracks ahead of us this morning that veer off and on the high track of BPB a bit at the start. We caught up to the other hikers on Lincoln Brook Trail and broke Brutus out through 6-8" of fresh snow to the summit, then returned the same way.
Only a few other people out doing OH today. Congrats to the couple finishing their 48! Bumped into some familiar (and hardcore) folks at the junction of Osseo coming off the ridge and enjoyed some good conversation for the last mile. |
