Comments
Comments: A couple of inches of loose powder over hardback crust and ice on the way up. The loose powder became deeper above Liberty Spring campsite. A little deeper still between Liberty and Flume. Snowshoes should be used between the peaks. In our case we used snowshoes half way down Liberty Spring. With the ice under to powder it made the footing more secure.
Nice sunny day today.
